What is a ModPack?
A ModPack is a collection of Mods that are configured in specific ways to create a unique Modded MC experience.
Getting a ModPack
ModPacks are generally available for download on Modrinth and CurseForge. You can download them from your Launcher directly, or you can download them from the above websites and import them into your Launcher.
Importing
ModPacks can be packaged into a couple of different formats, specifically zip, mrpack, or others in rare cases.
Generally, most Launchers support the zip format, but some are formatted differently than others depending on how it was packaged. For example, any zip ModPack made by the Curse Launcher is different from a zip ModPack made by the Technic Launcher.
mrpack is a custom format used for Modrinth ModPacks only.
Now, you can import ModPacks from these files into your Launcher of choice. Some support dropping files into the window, some require you to manually select the file in their window.
